A Spontaneous Saturday in the East Village

This weekend, the Cove Collective took a trip to Union Square! We started off with brunch at Sweet Chick, where we shared a HUGE plate of loaded fries and delicious chicken and waffles. Then we walked over to the Union Square Farmers Market to check out stands that had everything from lilacs to organic honey, and bought pears, cider doughnuts, and jewelry. But the day didn’t end there! We ventured beyond the farmers market and stumbled upon a truck giving away free La Croix cans and merch. After we claimed the freebies, we made our way to some nearby stores for some spontaneous thrifting (and scouted out a spot for an upcoming event!). At the end of the day, we got bubble tea before jumping on the subway to head home. Our brunch and farmers market trip became an unplanned tour of the East Village, and we had a ton of fun getting to learn more about each other and the city!
